What is Pickleball ?

Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a court that is smaller than a tennis court, with a net in the middle. The game is played with a pickleball paddle and a soft ball that is larger than a tennis ball but smaller than a softball.

The objective of the game is to hit the ball over the net to the opposing side of the court, while the opposing team tries to return the ball. The ball can be hit with any part of the body, except for the hands and arms. Players must remain within the court boundaries while playing.

Pickleball is a great workout for people of all ages and skill levels, as it combines cardiovascular exercise with muscle building and flexibility. It is also a social game, as it is often played in doubles, and allows players to meet new people and have fun together.

Since its inception in the 1960s, pickleball has become increasingly popular across the United States and Canada. It is now considered one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, with over 7 million players worldwide.
